Pixel Ponies has been working as a forum-based game since 2001. My dream for Pixel Ponies has always been to make it into an actual web game. And now it is becoming a reality! We have been working since Summer 2007 on coding and developing Pixel Ponies into an actual interactive browser-based web game. A lot of the game has already been coded and we are now working on a lot of the graphics and the skeletal work of the game. It will not be long now, and this game is ready for Beta testing... we are excited!

Pixel Ponies is like a Sim-Horse game. You can buy, raise, train, compete and breed your pixel ponies. The awesome thing about breeding Pixel Ponies is that our breeding system is set up like REAL HORSE genetics... it is probably the most extensive, realistic and complete horse genetic simulator on the internet today! And along with real horse genetics we've added our own funky, fantasy colours... so you can have ponies of all sorts of colours as well as ponies with realistic colours.. the same goes for pony markings!! You can selectively breed your pixel ponies for different traits, like physical attributes, colours, markings, temperaments, sizes and whatever else you can think of in order to create your dream pixel pony! And if you want to get really intense, you can even selectively breed your ponies to establish your own actual Breeds of ponies!

You can make a bunch of Golden Pixels (our currency) by competing your best ponies in events like flat racing, show jumping, barrel racing, endurance racing, and sooo much more! As you earn more Golden Pixels you can buy more land and build more stables and other pony facilities like arenas, so that you can create a vast Pony Ranch or Equestrian Centre!!
